While cleaning out my closet at my parents' house I stumbled upon a box filled with random writings and musings from when I was 15 years old. It was a reminder to me just how negative I was back then, and how far I've come since that time. Had they been the writings of an adult, they would clearly indicate a person who is emotionally imbalanced. Heck, even for a teenager I was off the deep end. As cliche as it sounds, I really am a different person now. The only remnant of those dark days are the scars.
